The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were taken under fire after Meghan Markle celebrated a rare photo of their daughter, Lilibet, the international women’s day of the international female. What was meant as a moving tribute soon became controversial, because critics accused the couple of “irresponsible” because they have put their young daughter on a boat without a life jacket.
Meghan, 43, shared a photo on Instagram and let her three -year -old daughter, Lilibet, rolled up on her father Prince Harry’s lap while gently kissing her head while she enjoyed a boat trip together.
The Social Media Post also contained more images that celebrate inspiring women, including a charming selfie from Meghan with her mother, Doria Ragland, and a genuine snapshot of Meghan and Harry laughing and cuddling on the beach.

The caption was: “Celebrating the strong women around us and the girls with dreams that women with vision will become. Also those who elevate us every day.”
Countless followers from the social media, however, expressed their concern about the absence of a safety vest on the three -year -old in the photo.

Users on X shared their opinion, with many criticizing the former royal couple. While some people labeled the ‘irresponsible’, others emphasized the illegality. In California, where the couple lives with the age of two, the State Act obliges all children younger than 13 to wear a life jacket while on board a moving ship of every size.
“Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are so good at showing the world how much they suck to be parents,” said a viral post on X.
“Prince Harry & Meghan Markle never have the basic needs for the safety of children who wonder if they are parents. Where are the car seats? Where are the vests of life? Do a children even live with them?” Another posted on X.
One reaction noted: “They don’t even wear safety belts and life jackets. Reckless.”
“I have had boats all my life. My children grew up to have their own boats. Always have a life jacket on your children,” read another comment.
