Carlos Alcaraz will play on Sunday and Jannik Sinner will compete on Monday to begin their runs at the Nitto ATP Finals.
Alcaraz will face Alex de Minaur in the first singles match of the tournament on Sunday, while two-time champion Alexander Zverev will face debutant Ben Shelton in the evening.
Alcaraz heads into the season finale as the top seed and in pole position in the battle for ATP year-end No. 1, presented by PIF Awards. The Spaniard needs to earn more than 450 points to become number 1 in Turin at the end of the year. The 22-year-old leads De Minaur 4-0 in their Lexus ATP Head2Head series, including two wins this season.
Sinner starts his title defense against Felix Auger-Aliassime or Lorenzo Musetti on Monday evening. If Musetti beats Novak Djokovic in the Athens final, he will qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals. If Djokovic wins, Auger-Aliassime will qualify and face Sinner Monday.
Record seven-time Nitto ATP Finals champion Djokovic begins his hunt for an eighth title at the year-end championships Monday afternoon against 2024 finalist Taylor Fritz.
