During a collision between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on 11 April 2019, the Wicketkeeper-Batter could not control his anger after a failed no-ball call from the on-Field-Ucht.
During the last about the game, Ben Stokes threw a high full toss for Mitchell Santner. The leg-tumpire initially meant a no-ball before he considered it a fair delivery. Dhoni made the sudden change of decision furious and he ran out the ground to get a statement from the officials. The game was stopped for a few minutes when the referees tried to reason with the former India skipper.
The current CSK player Shreyas Gopal, who represented the Royals in that collision, remembered how there was Pin-Drop stelt when Dhoni entered the field.
“I was actually with fine -leg, so he just walked past. I knew that there are problems along the way. If someone has to walk in, especially he is probably the coolest and calmest cricket player, if he has to walk in, there was something that really bothered him or not calm,” he said (via the YouTube channel of CSK).

“The striking (in IPL) is my hat trick to RCB. That moment really told me that you can really do well at this level and the confidence just went two notches higher. At the end of the day, Cricket is so much a confidence game. Your form is so much confidence,” he said.
Gopal has played 52 IPL matches so far. He has taken into account 52 wickets on average 25.92 and an economy of 8.16. The 32-year-old was part of the CSK team this season, but did not get a competition.
