Daniel Cormier continued to put together one of the greatest inheritances in the Mixed Martial Arts. An established boxing champion who collided with DC early in the career of Cormier has given insight into that competition.
Lucas Browne is the warrior in question, and he just passes Corey Harrison. This came via TKO, a doctor’s interruption at the end of the first round in what Browne’s box debut with bare knuckles was on BKB 45.
Browne appeared Bare knuckle bowker To touch the gloved boxing [where he became Australia’s first heavyweight champion]His successful boxing debut with bare knuckles, and the fact that these are not the only martial arts in which he fought, as Browne said [via Bare Knuckle Bowker],, “
“So I fought for a world title in MMA and unfortunately that was for Daniel Cormier. So I got the title, but I still fought for it. So I know that I am at a decent level everywhere. So I am very happy with that.”
Daniel Cormier and the memories that Browne has about their fight
Lucas Browne fought for a mixed martial arts title against someone who later became a UFC champion in several divisions and one of the greatest of all time in sport, Daniel Cormier.
When offering his memories of the fight and seeing the inheritance that Cormier could then compile, after the couple had fought in July 2010, where DC claimed the XMMA heavy-weight crown, Browne stated [via Bare Knuckle Bowker],, “
“Zoals het begon, moest ik eigenlijk vechten tegen zijn sportschoolgenoot met de naam Mike Kyle. Dus hij was destijds een UFC-vechter, maar 6’4 en een stand-upvechter. Het was dus een heel ander soort aspect. En twee dagen later trok hij zich terug en zetten ze Cormier erin. Dus ik had al zoveel tafels verkocht en dit en dat en nog wat.”
“So I just said:” Oh, well, let’s do it, you know “and knowing that he was a kind of wrestler, but I am a big, strong guy. But yes, the struggle and of course the precision that accompanies it was definitely a sign in the fight. So I threw a shot. So I didn’t even think this was good.”
“And then, boom, he brought me straight down. So I was actually a turtle on my back for most of the fight. I got up, right down again. I got up, right down again. And it was an elbow over the eye it did. 13 stitches.”
“I literally couldn’t see what was going on and was just beaten and the referee called it. I wanted to thank you. So I was definitely ready. But yes, to see him progress in his career and see who he was, at least gives me a better feeling.”
