We all hope to never be in a situation where a tow truck is needed. From parking in a towing zone or taking your car back to a malfunction or crashing with another vehicle, there are almost no good reasons for your car to be at the end of a tow hook. They are often experiences that we never want to remember.
What was your worst experience with a tow truck? Do you ever have trouble getting a tow truck driver after an incident during the winter months? Or the towing company is simply overwhelmed by the number of calls after a snowstorm, or the weather is just a shame to bring someone to you. Have you ever split into an area where towing companies have refused to send drivers? It can be too difficult because of the road layout and problem bridges en route, or it is considered too dangerous at night.
An angry pick -Up -owner stole the tow truck with his chevy on the hook
A tow truck was involved in one of the most memorable anger incidents of New York City in the recent memory. Last year, a parked Chevrolet -Pick -Up -the service door of a building in Brooklyn blocked. While the Chevy was towed away, the owner of the vehicle showed up to confront the tow truck driver and followed a viral moment. The owner fought the driver on the street and tried to disconnect his pick -up. In the action of a desperate person, the Chevy owner climbed onto the tow truck and rushed through the street, slammed several cars before he collapsed in a city bus frontally.
Make sure you share your worst tow car experiences in the comments below. Hopefully it was not about hijacking a truck and a poorly planned escape attempt. I am not a lawyer, but I can clearly not protect you against self -accusation for potentially illegal actions. Do not admit something that you are not willing to do the time or that is not beyond the status of limitations.
