The weekend was a mix of small errands, family time and some of those practical decisions that mark the beginning of a new phase.
On Friday I took a few books back to the library, that simple routine I always enjoy. Then we went to NK to finally place the order for our new sofa. It also means that our Bröderna Andersson can move on soon – and if any of you want to pinch them for Christmas, let me know. It would be funnier if they ended up with someone I know, instead of with “strangers”.
John and I celebrated the decision in our own way: cheese and bubble tea.

Return loan books at Kulturhuset.

Try to stop me from making Christmas decorations everywhere when you go through Nk. Everything in Newport screams Ralph Lauren Christmas, but hasn’t made it into the Christmas section yet. I will do that with the children as usual on Saturday, November 29.

I asked the Toteme staff if a boot came in by any chance. I was wearing a wool coat, jeans, patent leather boots and a small bag.

We took the road past the cheese shop.

Bruno was not very helpful with the cleaning.
The rest of the evening was spent cleaning out closets and halls, and removing what was stuck in the corners of the months. We make room to… well, to breathe. And to leave the baby period behind us in a peaceful way.

On the way to Saturday’s yoga in brown cashmere from Cos, Penny loafers, leggings, fur and T-Clutch.

Then a walk towards the old town.

Morning bun is the best bun available at Själsö bakery.
Saturday was a family day.
First yoga for me, and then we went to Old Town to look at some statues Eli heard about in kindergarten. Sunny and ice cold, red cheeks for everyone. In the evening the boys helped me make truffle pasta, and Harry and I watched Planet of the Apes. There were a lot of conversations about what it feels like to be almost a teenager – that in-between state where everything is both appealing and a little frightening.

Long walk with Bruno in a fur hat and coat.

John had changed everyone’s sheets and I lay down to rest in the last light of day.

I thought I would finish this one I started on Friday.
Sunday was filled with reading books, cleaning, a coat hanger finally appearing in the hall, and a lot of herding by both children and dogs between different parks. A completely normal Sunday, but in a good way.
And now I thought: I’m going to watch It’s All Her Fault. Have you seen it?
