Quarterback Streaming Options Week 5

Jaxson Dart, New York Giants in New Orleans Saints (33% toasted)

It is hard to imagine that the NFL debut of Jaxson Dart could have gone better. Dart completed 13 out of 20 passes for 111 yards and one touchdown and added 10 carrys for 54 yards and a touchdown. He finished as the QB11 with 19.8 fantasy points. The passing Stat line was not fantastic, but it is important to remember that the defense of the Chargers came in last week as one of the best pass defense in the NFL this season.

Jaxson Dart Advanced States & Metrics -Profile

The use of Dart was still encouraging as a runner. The Giants had built countless rushes for Dart into the game plan to take advantage of his mobility. The most important error of the debut of the Rookie was that he took five bags, several of which can be attributed to his persistent ball, waiting for a play.

Dart will have a much easier matchup in week 5 against the New Orleans Saints. The saints have added the fourth worst expected points (27.35) and the fifth-striking success rate (83.8%) against Quarterbacks this season.

Diep Sleeper: Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers vs Miami Dolphins (18% toasted)

It has not been a good start until 2025 for Bryce Young. He only has one match with more than 12.0 fantasy points, and this season he has thrown less than 160 passing yards in three games. Three of his five touchdowns came in one match. As a plus, he did not throw an interception in two weeks, but it has still not been nice.

However, that does not matter much with a matchup against the dolphins on the horizon. Miami has added the second lowest pressure percentage (21.5%), the second worst expected points (38.25%) and the worst DVOA (41.5%) against Quarterbacks this season. The difference between Miami’s 32nd digit in the success rate (63.6%) and the 31st team (New England) is the same as the difference between the 31st and 21st teams.

It is fair to be skeptical about Young as a fantasy quarterback in 2025, but week 5 is an excellent opportunity for him to get back on the right track.

Honorable mention: Sam Darnold, Seattle Seahawks vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (27% toasted)

Sam Darnold starts to warm up in fantasy. He has three consecutive weeks with 15.0 fantasy points. During that time he had three straight 200+ meters passing versions with five touchdowns and two interceptions.

He has not shown that he can be a week winner this season, but he is a solid double that you can connect to your line-up for weeks or injuries.

Running Back Streaming Options Week 5

Michael Carter, Arizona Cardinals vs Tennessee Titans (16% toasted)

The fantasy world was shocked on Wednesday when the Arizona Cardinals announced that Trey Benson would be placed on the wounded reserve after an operation of his meniscus. That will let the cardinals lean on Michael Carter and Emari Demercado in the Achterveld at least the next four weeks.

Carter played in three games without Benson last season, on average bears 11.7 and 3.7 goals per game. He on average more than 60 yards and at that time scored a touchdown, on average 11.9 PPR points per match.

Michael Carter Advanced statistics and statistics profile

The Titans are not the best matchup from a football perspective, but the cardinals must be in a positive gamecript, which leads to more hasty volume for Carter.

Diep Sleeper: Brashard Smith, Chiefs of Kansas City in Jacksonville Jaguars (6% roasted)

The Chiefs have stated that they are committed to getting Brashard Smith more offensive opportunities. Week 4 was a good first step in the direction of that goal.

Smith registered a season-high Snap share of 26% in week 4 against the ravens. He had a career-high seven touches (four wears and three receptions) for 36 Yards. What is even more important, Smith looked like the most explosive back in a team that has struggled throughout the season.

Brashard Smith made of Stats & Metrics Profile

Kansas City’s attack is always looking for ways to generate explosive plays. Smith is one of the few weapons in the attack (together with Xavier Worthyy and Tyquan Thornton) that can achieve that consistently. He should continue to see his role grow while he makes good plays.

Honorous mention: Kendre Miller, New Orleans Saints vs New York Giants (27% Rasted)

Kendre Miller remains a consistent presence in the backfield of the saints. The third-rounder of 2023 has had at least five Carry’s in every game this season. He has seen his Snap share increase every week, with a season-best 31.3% Mark in week 4. Miller has brought the extra chance of a solid fantasy performance against the bills (11 wears 65 yards and a touchdown).

Kendre Miller Advanced States & Metrics -Profile

Miller is healthy and gets the best out of his chances with the saints. Week 4 was probably the ceiling for his performance and volume with Alvin Kamara Healthy, but that can be enough to make him a flex-level artist in fantasy.

Honorable mention: Rico Downle, Carolina Panthers vs Miami Dolphins (18% toasted)

Rico Downle has back-to-back games with at least 10 touches and 30+ All-Purphone Yards. This season he has at least one reception in all four games and had his second consecutive week with a Snap share of 39%.

Chuba Hubbard works due to a persistent calf injury, which could lead to a greater role for Downle in week 5. Miami has allowed the third most hasty yards this season (632) and the fifth worst yards before contact (2.7) and explosive Rush Rate (16.1%).

UPDATE: Hubbard is excluded for this week’s game, making Dowlee an attractive option as the likely RB1 of the Panthers.

Wide receiver streaming options week 5

Darius Slayton, New York Giants in New Orleans Saints (41% toasted)

Someone has to get up to help Rookie Quarterback Jaxson Dart now that Malik Nubers has been lost for the year because of an ACL injury. After Nubers’ injury, the workload was evenly distributed between broad recipients Wan’dale Robinson (five goals) and Darius Slayton (four goals), as well as tight end Theo Johnson (five goals).

For week 5, Slayton is a good gamble to lead the Giants Passcatching group against the saints. New Orleans has been added 29th in expected points against broad recipients this season (27.35). They are also 13th in explosive Pass rate against (13.9%) and have specified the fourth most touchdowns on explosive steps (three). That fits more with its deep ball skills than Robinson’s under skills set.

Diep Sleeper: Isaiah Bond, Cleveland Browns vs Minnesota Vikings (5% toasted)

After week 4, Cedric Tillman landed on the wounded reserve due to a hamstring injury. That leaves the browns with a considerable vacancy at a broad recipient to Jerry Jeudy.

A player who has yields in recent weeks is Rookie UDFA Isaiah Bond. In the past two weeks, Bond Snap has registered of 65% and 55%. During that time he caught five the 10 goals for 74 Yards. He had a season high of 19.3 meters per reception in week 4.

Isaiah bond advanced statistics and statistics profile

Tillman’s injury offers an opportunity for Bond to continue to earn more playing time. In the end, his playing style is not a perfect match with the strengths of Dillon Gabriel, but Bond has the kind of explosiveness that can change a broking win of every target.

Honorable mention: Jalen Tolbert, Dallas Cowboys at New York Jets (5% roasted)

Jalen Tolbert is not the most exciting broad receiver to roast in fantasy, but he will continue to see a fixed target with Ceedee Lamb on the sidelines. Tolbert is focused six times in each of the last two games without lamb and catches seven passes for 85 yards.

The jets have added the third highest expected points against broad recipients this season (30.3) and the highest explosive playing speed (20.5%), so this is a chance for Tolbert to make a number of large games.

Tight final streaming options week 5

Brenton Strange, Jacksonville Jaguars vs Kansas City Chiefs (36% toasted)

Brenton Strange is the most consistent fitting catcher in Jacksonville for four weeks. Strange has at least four goals and three receptions in every game this season. He has received at least 40 yards in three of the four games. Strange is second on the Jaguars in Doelen (23) but leads the team in receptions (19) and receives Werven (182).

The Veteran Tight End is the TE14 in PPR scoring (9.3), but it has provided double digits in back-to-back weeks. The Chiefs are solid against tight ends this season (3.4 points per match), but have allowed 15 receptions on 18 goals. Strange will still have a respectable day of receiving volume.

Diep Sleeper: Elia Arroyo, Seattle Seahawks vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2% toasting)

Elia Arroyo is still the clear second tight end of AJ Barner in the attack of Seattle, but he sees his snap -share rise weekly. Arroyo had his first game last week with a Snap share above 50%. The increased playing time led to two seasonal receptions (on four goals) for 44 Yards.

It was also clear that Seattle tried to get the ball to the Rookie when he was on the field. Arroyo was the first reading about three of his goals and was just missed in an attempted end zone.

Elia Arroyo Advanced States & Metrics -Profile

The dynamic rookie starts to be used in the attack of the Seahawks. And while the TimeShare is considerably complaining with Barner with Barner, Arroyo is also the kind of game player who can change a small target in a big day in fantasy.

Honorable mention: Harold Fannin Jr., Cleveland Browns vs Minnesota Vikings (29% roasted)

Cleveland’s decision to turn to Dillon Gabriel at Quarterback, would be the fantasy production of Harold Fannin Jr. Being able to help stimulate, especially with Cedric Tillman who hits the wounded reserve.

From a fantasy point of view, Week 4 was the worst season of Fannin’s smoke year (two receptions for 24 Yards). However, positive signals were hidden in the insufficient production. The tight end earned his the second most goals from 2025 (six) while registering his best Snap share (85.1%).

Fannin has consistently earned goals this season, and a big day in fantasy is apparently around the corner.
