It only takes one week before everything changes. We have injuries, surprising pimples, disappointing busts and everything in between. But it is time to concentrate on the future and update your selection to ensure that it is all set for a week 2 profit. Every week I bring you an article with answering two simple questions: who should I stream this week and who should I save for the future?
To keep it easy, we will define a streamer if every player you would usually not start who is a feasible option for this week. They can stand on your couch or they can be at a distance, depending on your competition. We will define a stock if every player you can find potential on exemptions that you have to store for the future, or because they have a favorable match-up, or because they can become a future fantasy starter.

QB streamers:
Justin Fields (NYJ): One of my favorite sleepers for the season, unexpectedly came into a tough Steelers-Matchup in week 1. Justin Fields ended like the QB2 and now gets a juicy opportunity for a sequel to the accounts. This is the same Bills defense that Lamar Jackson ran everywhere before a passive end of the Buffalo game gave the victory. I would expect the jets to chase the game all day, which means a lot of field production. I will rank it well in my top 10.
JJ McCarthy (min): It cost JJ McCarthy a few quarters to settle in his NFL debut, but he looked every bit at the fantasy activum I expected while he was high this season. This week he will receive a generous Falcons defense that has already been weaker for a number of seasons against the pass then the run. I would expect another solid performance from a QB that is available in most competitions.
QB Stash:
Daniel Jones (IND): In week 1 the Colts slid a dolphins defense that was the most economical for opposite Quarterbacks last season. Of course, they have had a number of important downgrades, but it must be acknowledged that the Indy version of Jones (Pun meant?) Looked much better than what we saw in NYC. Indianapolis will get the heavy Broncos defense this week, so I would not start Jones against them, but he is worth the stock.
RB -Streamers:
Javonte Williams (Dal): The giants have been weak against the run for a few years now and that took place in week 1. This week it is Javonte Williams who gets the juicy matchup. He was fantastic against Eagles last week and will hopefully be on your couch after I had mentioned him as a great stock option before the season. This is the matchup to give it in your line -up.
Kenneth Gainwell (Pit): This is very much a deep competition, but if you are in a real pickle to run back, you can do it worse than Kenny Gainwell. The Steelers are confronted with a Seahawks defense that has admitted the second most points to run back last week. Admittedly, that was CMC, so it is hardly an even comparison, but it does indicate that a team that is willing to run the ball can have success against Seattle. And we know that the stalkers like to use their running backs. And who was their starter last week? It was not Kaleb Johnson, who played two total snaps. It wasn’t Jaylen Warren, despite his good performance. It was Kenny G who started the game and ended with the most snaps played. He is a very risky but potentially solid week 2 despair starts available in most competitions.
RB -Stashes:
Zach CharbonNet (SEA): Last week Zach CharbonNet had more snaps, more routes, more rushes and twice as many meters per touch than Kenneth Walker. Yes, KW3 recovers from an injury, but Charbonnet looks ready to become the Seattle starter. He is a must -stash if you can get it in your hands, because we know how much advantage he has as a starter. He will get a heavy matchup this week, but in the long term I love the benefit.
Running backs get more injured than any other player in fantasy, with the average top 36 who miss two games per season in Fantasie. For that reason, your best bet in fantasy is to roast those declining backs that have an injury away from every role. Every week I mention my favorite RB -Stashes, including players that you don’t start most weeks.
Tophands: Jordan Mason, Zach Charbonnet, Brian Robinson, DJ Giddens, Rachaad White, Braelon Allen, Ray Davis, Trey Benson, Blake Corum, Najee Harris, Rico Downle, Kendre Miller, Kaleb Johnson, Olie Gordon, Kareem Huntt
WR -Streamers:
Ricky Pearsall (SF): injuries to Jauan Jennings and George Kittle have Ricky Pearsall in prime position to be the top 49ers receiver next to Christian McCaffrey in week 2. The saints were a top 10 -matchup for broad recipients last week that made Pearsall a solid start.
Marquise Brown (KC): The Chiefs also suspended a real lack of recipients with Xavier wounded and Rashee Rice. Hollywood Brown was the clear Slotman and has a fantastic floor in PPR competitions. If it is worth it, he is a must -start, but even if it is worth it, I still love Brown to have a solid game.
WR Stashes:
Last week my stock was Quentin Johnston and Cedric Tillman and I think we saw how they out. They are still great options, but I wanted to add some variation, so there are two more.
Troy Franklin (Den): Last year’s dynasty, Troy Franklin finally got a good chance to shine in week 1, playing surprising in most snaps and played for Marvin Mims. There is a forward WR2 role in making here, but it is unclear whether Franklin or Mims will grow in it, so I bought both to see what is happening.
Elic Ayomanor (Ten): Rookie Elic Ayomanor was the clear WR2 for the Titans in week 1. It can take a while before this becomes a valuable role for fantasy, but he is worth storing deeper competitions to see if he can’t get on where they can’t lean on game in game in games in games in games in games in games in games in games in games in a lot of ride on games in games on games in games in games on games in games in games on games in games in games in a game on games on games in games in games on games in games in games in games in games in games in a lot of on game can lean on Tony polls.
Te -Streamers:
Juwan Johnson (no): the saints finally gave a tight end and every role, in which Juwan Johnson played one after one and pulled 11 goals. Given all the injuries and problems at the end, I consider Johnson a solid streaming option this week in the hope that he can become a starter of every week, despite the difficult matchup. I would start him about Colston Loveland, Zach Ertz and Evan Enggram to name just a few.
Dallas Goedert (Phi): The Chiefs have been a great tight final matchup for a while and while that did not come out last week, the chargers still had tight final goals than normal. This week I expect a solid performance for Dallas Goedert, while the Chiefs try to close the strong run game of the Eagles.
Te Stash:
Harold Fannin JR (CLE): We learned last week why you should not jump in a young end that breaks 1. Harold Fannin JR could easily be another Isaiah, but it is also possible that the browns are planning to use a 2nd-heavy approach with Fannin the clear receiver of the two. That would give him a fantastic weekly benefit, as we saw against the Bengal what he could do. But until I see it more consistent, I cannot recommend starting the Rookie, especially since David Njoku still plays the most snaps.
K Streamers:
Wil Lutz (Den): Wil Lutz is an accurate kicker in an attack that tries a solid amount of field goals. The Broncos will enter week 2 favorites in what could be a gravel festival, making this a risky upside down given the possible lack of extra point floor.
Chad Ryland (Ari): Do you remember that I said last week that you had to start against the Panthers, and it is out? Well, do it again!
Dst -streamers:
Cardinals DST (Ari): Do you remember the last paragraph when I called the value of starting players against the Panthers? This also applies to DSTs. The cardinals remain a solid DST for this week.
Patriots DST (NE): The defense of Colts tore the dolphins to fragments and the patriots are a much better defense. I love their chances in week 2 of a solid performance in a low scoring game.
Note: I do not mention kicker or dst -stashes. You should never put kickers or DSTs on your couch in Redraft competitions. There are practically no exceptions. Just don’t do it.
