Because there was a lot of rain last night, we decided not to let Bluenose Belle run at Market Rasen on Friday and we will look for a better terrain for her. We also have the opportunity to use her in all weather conditions because there is so much rain.

Smile Back found the ground at Taunton not quite soft enough and the track too tight on her first attempt over five kilometers. However, she jumped well and ran her usual solid race before being overtaken on the straight and we will look for a more galloping track and some softer ground for her.

Hidden Target will be declared in the two and a half mile handicap hurdle at Huntingdon tomorrow. A competitive event with many runners. This will be his first run with a handicap after showing promising form in his new obstacles. Those races are going well in terms of form and hopefully he will learn a lot from this run.

We have four runners in Doncaster on Friday with Agent Argylle (pictured) in the two and a half mile novice hurdle, Neeps And Tatties in the two mile novice hurdle, The Last Drop in the two and a half mile novice handicap hurdle and Swift Jet in the three mile handicap pursuit. Finn Lambert will ride all four and hopefully there won’t be too much rain on the course between now and then.

Agent Argylle showed promise with his great run for us, while Neeps And Tatties needs one more run before qualifying for handicapping. The Last Drop ran desperately last time out at Uttoxeter and will appreciate the better ground, while Swift Jet jumped very well on his chasing debut before making a mistake on the 9^e last time in Huntingdon. They are all competitive events, but they seem to be in good shape and we look forward to making them happen.
