A real Captain’s performance by Bruno Guimaraes.
He continued to try and get Newcastle United over the winning line at St James’ Park and fittingly the Newcastle United captain scored the winner himself.
Bruno Guimaraes’ man of the match display wrapped up the finish in the 90th minute, having sprinted onto the pitch to be in the perfect spot when Leno could only parry Will Osula’s shot.
As Newcastle United fans, we are so lucky to have a captain like this Brazilian international.
The great thing is that Bruno Guimaraes loves the fans of Newcastle and this club as much as we love him.
Bruno Guimaraes interviewed by Andy Sixsmith after the NUFC Captain’s match-winning performance against Fulham:
“I was so happy to score on my 150th start for this great club.
“An incredible moment.
“My whole family is here today. My mother, father, wife and children – everyone in this stadium – so to score a goal like that, the end of the game at the Gallowgate End is so special.
“I want to do 11 celebrations again!
“This is the Newcastle United I know.
“We fight to the end.”
