The good times would not last forever. Last night the National Four Game Winning Streak was broken because of shaky defense and a leaking bull pen. They have been seasonal problems for the team, but they have not appeared lately. Hopefully that can be solved tonight.
The story for the nats is on the hill. After having spent at least 15 days on the injured list, Mackenzie Gore is back on the hill. Hopefully this reset is exactly what the left hander needed. The line -up was placed in a blender by Miguel Cairo. James Wood is released the night and Dylan Crews is moved all the way to the 2 hole. Josh Bell will also sit, with Paul Dejong at DH. Riley Adams returns after taking an unfortunate error tip last.
The Marlins also have a left hander who returns from injury pitching for them. Ryan Weathers has not thrown anymore since 7 June. His things have checked a lot this season, but his body was unable to process that speed rise. The Marlins are piling their line -up with judges. Jakob Marsee is the only Lefty in the line -up for the fish tonight.
