The Golden State Warriors are interested in a potential drawing and trade agreement involving Josh Giddey and Jonathan Kuminga, sources told Jake Fischer.
“I can report that there have been several teams who have contacted Josh Giddey’s representation about interest in Josh Giddey. Golden State is one of them.
“Golden State would be interested, depending on how the machinations go in a sort of Josh Giddey-Jonathan Kuminga sign-en-Trade, to my understanding,” Fischer said.
The interest of the Warriors in Giddey goes back to the design of 2021.
“The Warriors were prepared for the Tapnacht, long ago in 2021, for Jonathan Kuminga to go to Oklahoma City. And they were ready to take Josh Giddey #7,” added Fischer.
Giddey and Kuminga are both negotiating their respective teams. De Bulls currently offer Giddey a deal of around $ 20 million a year, with Giddey looking for $ 30 million per season.
Kuminga, who continues to refuse the range of two years of $ 45 million of $ 45 million, is expected to be with the team before the start of the training camp.
Fischer then states that a roadblock for each team to acquire Giddey is a reluctance to reach the bulls because they have told rivals that they want to keep the guard.
“There is not much enthusiasm from these rival teams about calling the front office of the Bulls and the elaboration of a drawing and trade,” Fischer said.
