Waiting for autumn

Waiting for autumn

We still have warm weather lately, in the 90s F (Lage 30S C). But at least because the days are getting shorter, it cooled nicely at night. I look forward to it soon being officially and hope that it will start matching it again.

My driving was pleasant because it is cool in the morning. Last Tuesday my group drove to the end of Redwood Retreat Road west of Morgan Hill, about 2 1/2 hours on my upright. It was a great ride, but my neck was stiff at the end. I am susceptible to neck problems, which I try to minimize on a conventional bike by staying upright, and often getting up to get up often. I did this, but still had a problem, the neck has chased me more than a day after. So I think I will stick to my lying on longer journeys, including my group journeys. As long as the ride is an hour or less, I do it well on the upright.

Wednesday I had a relatively short (90 minutes) but still a challenging hard ride on my recumbent bike, which felt great. I mainly enjoyed Friday, a long sturdy cruise out and back on Coyote Creek Trail.
