The Los Angeles Table Tennis Association (LATTA) LATTA is a non-profit organization founded in 1998. The center is one of the largest table tennis clubs in the country with more than 10,000 square feet of space. It has 20-foot ceilings and red rubber floors. It seats 16 tables and has ample parking spaces. It’s open 24 hours a day, every day – a true full-time table tennis facility.
LATTA is located in El Monte, California, just east of Los Angeles. The facility is located just off the 10 and provides easy access to the greater Los Angeles area. One of LATT’s most unique benefits is its coaching staff, led by legendary players Tawny Banh and Crystal Huang. Banh is a two-time Olympian and a Pan Am medalist, and Huang was an Olympian and former U.S. champion. The facility offers coaching, monthly tournaments and Saturday round robin competitions. They also work with local parks and recreation departments and other community groups to try to expand the sport through after-school athletic programs.
