The new Vivo V70 series follows the V60 series launched last year. Following the trend set by him, the V70 series will also have the ZEISS certification for its camera system.
The upcoming Vivo V70 series will have a 50MP ZEISS telephoto camera paired with the largest 1.3cm sensor in the segment and 4K 60fps with zoom clarity.
The Chinese smartphone maker further announced that the Vivo V70 Elite will run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. It’s likely to get up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Both the Vivo V70 and V70 Elite will run on OriginOS 6 out of the box, with a likely tie-in on Android 16. It is believed that Vivo will bring 4 operating systems and 6 years of security patches to the series.
The smartphones will also come with a range of advanced and new AI features for photography and user experiences.
The Vivo V70 series is expected to come with a battery of up to 6,000 mAh, supported by an 80W charger in the box.
Vivo will likely use a flat screen in both phones with a maximum nit brightness of over 6,500 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Vivo V70 series will enter the premium segment, with the base variant expected to carry a price tag of over Rs 40,000, while the Elite will carry a more elite number.
