Collective to present award -winning offers at Premier Global Event for Golf Tourism
The leading golf destination of Central Vietnam is on its way to the French Riviera. Next month Ba Na Hills Golf Club will fly the flag for Danang and the wider Vietnam Golf Coast when it comes to the World Elite at the International Golf Travel Market (IGTM) in Cannes.
Before the club leaves for France, the club is set for a large highlight on home grass. The IMG Trophy tournament in Ba Na Hills Golf Club on Saturday, September 13, 2025, will welcome more than 130 golfers from Vietnam and Overzee and offer a lively mix of sporting excellence, cultural exchange and community connection. The increase in activity underlines the growing reputation of the region as one of the most important Golfhubs in Southeast Asia, where championship caliber courses meet stunning landscapes and hospitality of world class.
As part of the prestigious IMG standard in Cannes, Ba Na Hills Golf Club will present his award-winning course to a global audience of destinations, resorts, clubs and tour operators. Designed by Ryder Cup Team Europe Captain Luke Donald, the course has become one of the most spoken layouts in Asia thanks to the creative routing, dramatic mountain institution and the only fully flood fairies from Vietnam.
“Taking Ba after Hills Golf Club to IGTM is an incredible opportunity to tell our story to a global audience,” said Simon Mees, general manager of Ba Na Hills Golf Club. “This is more than just about our course – although having Luke Donald’s only design certainly distinguishes us. It is also about placing Central Vietnam on the map as one of the world’s most compelling golf and travel destinations.”

The three -day IGTM is the most important worldwide event for golf tourism, known for its structured pre -planned meetings with more than 40 -targeted buyers and decision makers. For Ba Na Hills, the event offers a unique opportunity to secure partnerships, expand distribution channels and increase brand recognition in important international markets.
That wider story is indeed fascinating. Danang has emerged as a prominent tourism hotspot, not only celebrated for its Golf, but also around his world class beaches, dining by Michelin and an impressive portfolio of luxury hotels and resorts. Properties such as the Intercontinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort and Novotel Danang, together with a fast -growing Eetscène that is recognized by the Michelin guide, underline the growing allure of the region for refined international travelers.
“Da Nang evolves into a destination that can be confidently next to the best in the world,” Mees added. “Golf is an important part of that story, but it is supplemented with beautiful coastal landscapes, cultural heritage and hospitality that continues to win worldwide prizes. We are proud of both Ba Na Hills and the wider Vietnam Golf Coast in Cannes.”
By participating in IGTM Cannes, Ba wants to strengthen existing partnerships after Hills Golf Club, build new distribution channels and strengthen the reputation of Central Vietnam as a leading destination for demanding golf travelers worldwide.
