After A successful Kickstarter -campaignValerion formally announces its new premium projector, the VisionMaster Max, on IFA 2025. The Boxy Little Projector offers an improved contrast and brightness, but the function that should be the most interesting for Home Theater lovers is how it tries to tackle it to tackle it “Rainbow effect” Usually in some cheaper projectors.
Cheaper DLP projectors sometimes show stutter-like color strives When the projector’s color wheel is forced to quickly move between colors during fast scenes. Although these do not necessarily hinder watching a film or TV program, the rainbow effect can harass sensitive projector owners. The VisionMaster Max tries to tackle the problem with what Valerion calls ‘anti-RBE technology’ that ‘reduces the rainbow effects by 99.9 percent’. The company gets this out by using software to combine the individual color series of what you can see faster than the human eye, making it look like a seamless image.
Valerion says that the VisionMaster Max also has an improved native contrast ratio of 5,000: 1 and an AI-assisted “Enhanced Black Level (EBL)” contrast of 50,000: 1 for improved depth and details in shadows. Valerion’s dramatically mentioned “Noirscene Dark Field Engine System” combines stable luminance from a fixed iris diaphragma and an EBL algorithm to offer deeper blacks with less need for calibration. Combined with the VisionMaster Max’s up to 3,500 lumen of brightness, it makes the projector even more usable during the day or night.
The VisionMaster Max also transfers the adjustable lens system from some of the other Valerion projectors, offers support for Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi 6th and runs Google TV. Despite the fact that Google’s Home Theater OS, Valerion guarantees that you can fully integrate the VisionMaster Max with Google Home, Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, Control4 and Crestron Smart Home Systems.
If that all sounds good, make sure you feel comfortable for a premium experience. Valerion says that the VisionMaster Max will be available in October 2025, starting at $ 4,999.
