Update of the national declarations of intent; Three of the four Division I NCAA champions finish the fall season No. 1 in the ITA rankings

This will be my final update on the Division I early signing period; my previous post, featuring the first batch of those who signed the National Letters of Intent, is available here.

Signing will continue in the coming weeks as the programs look for recruits who will begin their college careers in January. Many of the articles referenced below differentiate between those starting in Spring 2026 and those expected to join the team in Fall 2026. A recruit’s country is only listed if they are not from the US.

The first and final ITA Division I fall rankings were released today, with three of the four NCAA champions in the top spot. The only champions not to rise to the top spot after last week’s individual NCAA championships are North Carolina State’s Victoria Osuigwe and Gabriella Broadfoot, who are currently ranked No. 4 in women’s doubles.

The next singles rankings will take place on February 4, while the first team rankings will be released on January 5. Click on the headings to see the complete lists.
