A cheerleader at the University of Kentucky was arrested for alleging hiding a dead baby in her closet to hide a birth, according to the Lexington Police Department. The baby was wrapped in a towel and placed in a garbage bag, the police said.
Laken Snelling, 21, was arrested on Sunday and accused of abusing a corpse, messing with evidence and hiding the birth of a baby. Judicial documents indicate that Snelling has placed a bond of $ 100,000 and is now on household arrest without a single monitor in her parents in Jefferson City, Tennessee.
