In his regular daily briefing, UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric emphasized that continuous delays, bottlenecks in keeping points and interference in the charging process at intersection platforms undermine efforts to collect and distribute to people in need.

Wounded to reach food
Recent figures illustrate the scale of the challenge. Between May 27 and August 8, the Red Cross Field Hospital in Rafah treated more than 4,500 injured patients – most of the reporting injuries were trying to reach food distribution places.
