The Meta Apex will host the UFC’s first Fight Night event of the Paramount Plus era this weekend. After two consecutive numbered shows, UFC Vegas 113 brings the heat to the Las Vegas strip, with bantamweight contenders going head-to-head in the UFC Vegas 113 main event as Mario Bautista crosses Vinicius Oliveira. Before that, flyweight mainstay Amir Albazi looks to get back into the win column by stopping Kyoji Horiguchi’s attack.

UFC Vegas 113 main event

From 2022 to 2025, Bautista had enjoyed a seemingly unassailable warpath through the 135-lb division, defeating stellar competition including Ricky Simón, José Aldo and Patchy Mix during his eight-fight win streak. After Umar Nurmagomedov evicted him from the ranks of winners in his last match, the MMA Lab representative is eager to get back into the competitive race towards the title.

In a weight class filled with a wide range of great strikers, Oliveira stands out for his sheer power, with 16 wins by knockout as a professional. Undefeated since 2022, ‘Lok Dog’ and his heavy hands are preparing for a prolific and destructive run this year, starting with the UFC Vegas 113 main event.

Albazi returns to action after a hiatus of over a year due to major surgery and steps into the cage with a clean bill of health. ‘The Prince’ joins one of the most recognized Japanese names in mixed martial arts history and could establish himself as a top-tier threat at flyweight should he manage to convincingly dismantle his up-and-coming opponent.

Horiguchi returned to the UFC after nine years and put the 125-lb division on notice last November when he knocked out Tagir Ulanbekov at UFC Fight Night 265. Without wasting any time in continuing his bid to climb the ladder, “The Typhoon” is looking to bring a firestorm of excitement to the Apex this Saturday.
