It was not what you would call a strong card before Amir Albazi was forced to withdraw from the event, but UFC Vegas 108 took at least a week just a week from Fight Night.
The Apex-based map, the first in almost two months, would come across Albazi opposite the Japanese striking Tatsuro Taira. Instead, with Albazi that was not deleted medically, the road to UFC 2 winner Hyun Sung Park in the flying weight of the main event.
Names like Mateusz Rebecki (in the co-headliner against Chris Duncan at Lightweight) and Welterweight record holder Neil Magny also punctuated the main map, but everyone outside UFC who would have hard to find well-known names on Saturday. On the positive side, talented up-and-comers Austin Bashi and Rinya Nakamura belonged to the trade for action, making this perhaps a better event for prospect watchers.
