UFC star Michael ‘Venom’ Page believes Tom Aspinall, like Jon Jones, can dominate his division as world champion.
The main event of UFC 321 this weekend will see Tom Aspinall defend his UFC heavyweight championship. He will do this against Ciryl Gane, and it will be the first time he defends the title as the undisputed champion of the division.

While many believe Aspinall has what it takes to win, and do so in dominant fashion, this could be the last chance Gane has to retain the Ultimate Fighting Championship title. With that in mind, you’d have to think the Frenchman will put everything he has into this performance to prove he belongs among the heavyweight elite.
However, in the eyes of Aspinall’s fellow Englishman MVP, Tom has the potential to do something quite unprecedented during his reign as champion.

MVP praises Aspinall ahead of UFC 321
“I’m also a fan of Ciryl Gane. I just feel like Tom Aspinall is the next generation of the same thing we saw Jon Jones do in terms of the dominant fashion he took over his division,” Page told TNT Sports.
“I have a feeling the same thing is going to happen with Tom Aspinall. That style at heavyweight is unprecedented. Ciryl Gane has a bit of a bounce as well. I just don’t think he has the same speed and power as Tom Aspinall, as well as the ground game, although you probably won’t see that in this fight. I have a feeling he can get a knockout in this fight.”
