UFC Qatar: Keep it locked November 22 for excitement in Doha!

UFC Qatar is here! Today, before its promotion for the Thanksgiving holiday ends next week, it makes its first-ever visit to the country for this week’s card in Doha. After today, there are only two shows left on the schedule.

Live coverage is underway, starting at 10am ET/7am PT with the preliminaries before the main card closes out the day at 1pm ET/10am PT. This event will take place in the United States ESPN+.

UFC Qatar Main Event

At the top of the bill, today will be a crucial lightweight contest. No. 1 contender Arman Tsarukyan (22-3 MMA, 8-2 UFC) meets No. 6 contender Dan Hooker (24-12 MMA, 14-8 UFC). It will be an advertised maximum of five rounds of five minutes per round to close the show.

UFC Qatar Co-Main Event

Immediately before that, the co-main event of UFC Qatar takes place in the welterweight ranks. No. 2 contender Belal Muhammad (24-4, 1 NC MMA, 15-4, 1 NC UFC) takes on No. 6 contender Ian Machado Garry (16-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC). This is a three-round fight of five minutes per round.

Also tonight you’ll see a light heavyweight bout between No. 9 contender Volkan Oezdemir (20-8 MMA, 8-7 UFC) and No. 14 contender Alonzo Menifield (17-5-1 MMA, 10-5-1 UFC), a welterweight bout matching Jack Hermansson (24-9 MMA, 11-7 UFC) with Myktybek Orolbai (14-2-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) a heavyweight showdown between No. 6 contender Waldo Cortes-Acosta (15-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC) and No. 11 contender Shamil Gaziev (14-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) and a flyweight showdown against No. 11 contender Tagir Ulanbekov (17-2 MMA, 6-1 UFC) with Kyoji Horiguchi (34-5, 1 NC MMA, 7-1 UFC) in his promotional return.
