UFC Perth is almost here. On Saturday morning (Australia time) the official weighing window of the show took place in Western Australia. There has been a slight change in the planned schedule of events for this weekend’s show.
Two participants withdraw from UFC Perth for the map
Initially on the main map of tomorrow evening (10 p.m. et/ 7 p.m. pt, ESPN+), Justin Tafa was planned to have fought Louie Sutherland in a heavyweight tilt before the first became ill, which resulted in UFC officials who postponed the heavyweight match. Sutherland, however, successfully made weight on 259 pounds.
This was not the only fight that was scrubbed before the travel schedule of Saturday night. A welterweight affair on the Undercard (7 pm et/ 4 pm pt, ESPN+) was scrubbed on Friday morning in the southern hemisphere after Oban Elliott illCanceling his planned match against Jonathan Micallef. As a result, UFC Perth now has 12 fights on the map.
UFC Perth Weeg-Sins See Tavares Nutway Miss Target Saturday morning
Saturday’s official weightings were not without their problems. Apart from Justin Tafa who resigns from the map due to illness, a featherweight participant just missed today on the goal today.
Ramon Tavares (147 LBS) did not surpass the maximum of 146 pounds with a single pound on the scales today. His opponent, Jack Jenkins (146 pounds), made weight without any problems.
UFC Perth Main, Co-Main events locked up with official weighing window
Both the main and the CO-Main events will continue as planned after the roads on Saturday morning. No. 3 Candidate Carlos Ulberg (205 LBS) and no. 7 Competer Dominick Reyes (206 LBS) came in slightly lower or on the non -not -maxim for light heavyweights.
The Co-Headliner of UFC Perth sees more light heavyweight action taking place when the Australian Jimmy Crute (205 LBS) meets Ivanslan (206 LBS).
