The UFC returns to Houston, Texas this Saturday for a Fight Night event headlined by Sean Strickland and Anthony Hernandez, which could bring the next (next) title challenger in the middleweight division.
Presumably Nassourdine Imavov is next for Khamzat Chimaev, but after that Anthony Hernandez is on an eight-fight win streak, and nine would almost certainly earn him a spot. Sean Strickland, meanwhile, is a former champion who consistently stirs up controversy, and as such, draws attention, something the UFC would like to see as the Paramount+ broadcast deal enters its second month.
