The Phoenix Suns may have taken Kevin Durant away this season, but much less has been made of the power of the franchise to continue with the Bradley Beal experience. Beal has never really settled as the third option with the Suns, but he was also tired of being the man with the Washington Wizards, not to have the help and never get anywhere.

If there is something with an outdated core and a less sustainable teammate in Leonard will set more expectations on Beal, with a high level defending not something he was known for with the Suns. He also played 53 games in his two regular seasonal stints with the team, and that lack of availability and consistency ruined his momentum in the valley. A reality check comes from Lue.
