Ruben Amorim had identified the players he wanted to get rid of early in his reign at Manchester United.

The likes of Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia all formed the infamous ‘bomber’, with INEOS trying to get all five before the summer window closed.

While the Argentine and Brazilian joined Chelsea and Real Betis on a permanent basis, both England internationals have left on loan.

While Barcelona are keen to sign the Mancunian permanently if he continues to impress, the former Manchester City academy graduate continues to struggle, this time at Aston Villa.

Tyrell Malacia still at United

The only player who failed to find a new home for himself this summer was Tyrell Malacia, who saw moves to Turkey and Spain collapse.

The Dutchman eventually returned to United training, albeit for the U21s, with the Red Devils even including him in their Premier League squad.

Although the 26-year-old is still a model professional, the devastating knee injury he suffered two seasons ago has slowed him down considerably and he is no longer the same force he once was.

And the 20-time English league champions have no plans to keep him at the club beyond his current contract, which runs until 2026.

According to The Manchester Evening NewsGalatasaray are interested in the Dutch international and are ready to attack him once he becomes a free agent next summer.

Interestingly, the report adds that Tyrell Malacia is desperate to leave Old Trafford, and is willing to move in January itself if the Turkish giants are willing to pay a small fee.

Not for long

“Galatasaray are leading the race to sign Manchester United outcast Tyrell Malacia. The Turkish giants have put Malacia on their summer shopping list and are confident of luring him to Istanbul.”

“Malacia has decided to leave United at the end of the season when his contract expires. But he is desperate to get out of Old Trafford and could move in January if Gala is willing to sign him early and pay United a small fee.”

“His relationship with manager Ruben Amorim has broken down and is reportedly ‘irreparable’.”

United will not mind the ex-Feyenoord player leaving in the winter transfer period. It is clear that he has no future at the club and does not fit into the wingback system that Amorim uses. And earning compensation is an added bonus.
