Twin sisters behind the most important Slingshot rental company of Richmond celebrate the resilience of black women.

The 25-year-old twin sisters behind the Virginia RVA Hot Wheelz reveal the keys to their success in an industry-dominated industry that is rarely navigated by women of their age.

It is three years since Destiny and Dashia Oliver turned their passion for luxury vehicles into a flourishing company with the 2022 launch of RVA Hot Wheelz, the most important rental company of Richmond with striking, three -wheeled garlands with open cockpits for sensing riders. With a unique service bid, the Oliver sisters quickly found success, something that they attribute to laser-oriented on their business model and show resilience as black female entrepreneurs.

“The number one was tuning the outdoor noise and concentrating on what we were building. We saw the vision,” Destiny told WTVRIn a company profile.

“RVA Hot Wheels is proof that black women can do everything. RVA Hot Wheels is resilience. RVA Hot Wheels is community. We are RVA Hot Wheels,” said the sisters.

Dashia, who says Destiny, is the ‘critical thinker’ of the couple, recalls the hard work and the attention that went to decide to launch the rental company.

“I was always interested in luxury cars,” Dashia shared. “We have done a lot of research. We have seen that there were no slingshot rental companies. And we thought we were not, why not us?”

Driven by passion for their brand, the Oliver sisters started with only one Slingshot, but operated as if they had a fleet of ten. From 2025 they manage at least 13 Slingshot vehicles and run several pop-up locations.

“You can visit the beach, you can visit DC, you can go anywhere within our units,” said Dashia.

“I look for every customer to take when they leave this company just take a sense of relief, as if you can go loose, let go and really enjoy the ride,” Destiny said.

While their company continues to bloom, the recognition of the local Richmond community deserves. With the extra attention, the twin sister entrepreneurs are committed to building RVA Hot Wheelz in a realm of exotic journeys, while inspiring others to go after their dreams.

“Believe in your head that you can do everything, regardless of what it looks like, regardless of who you can support,” said Dashia. “You can literally do everything. If you turn on it.”
