Twid, a rewards-based payment network, launched the Twid UPI app on Monday, so that users can make payments throughout the country using their reward points for both offline and online purchases.
With the new app, users can link reward points and manage multiple banks, brands and loyalty programs in one place, making these points easily accessible and usable such as regular money. For the first time, users can also combine remuneration points with UPI payments at the payouts in immediate savings and reducing out-of-pocket spending, Twid said in a statement.
Every UPI transaction via the app earns users “Twid Stars”, which can be collected and exchanged in a wide network of trader partners, which improves the general payment experience.
