It may be another two days before the on-court action begins at the Nitto ATP Finals, but the singles stars for the 2025 edition of the prestigious season finale have already made quite an impression in Turin.
The six players from the eight-man field already in Italy – Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Ben Shelton, Taylor Fritz and Alex de Minaur – headed to the historic Piazza Castello in Turin on Friday to meet the thousands of fans who lined the blue carpet of the Nitto ATP Finals.

With their city hosting the Nitto ATP Finals since 2021, Turin residents have become accustomed to seeing some of the ATP Tour’s best up close. Yet the excitement in the air ahead of this year’s edition was palpable, not least because home favorite Sinner will enter the tournament as top seed and defending champions. The Italian is also locked in a down-to-earth battle with Alcaraz for ATP year-end number 1, presented by PIF awards.
After also posing for the official photo on the blue carpet, the players then headed to the Teatro Regio (Royal Theatre) to take part in a ‘Meet the Champions’ question and answer session and speak to local and international media.
By the time the on-court action at the Inalpi Arena begins on Sunday, Nitto ATP Finals record holder Novak Djokovic will also be in Turin. The Serbian will face Lorenzo Musetti in an ATP 250 final in Athens on Saturday: Should Musetti triumph, he will join compatriot Sinner in the eight-man line-up. If Djokovic triumphs in Greece, Felix Auger-Aliassime will take the last spot.
