Sylvester Stallone’s Tulsa King is back Sunday after the premiere of season 3 last week. What happened in episode 1 and what time does episode 2 start?
Note: Spoilers for season 3 of “Tulsa King”, episode 1 – entitled Blood and Bourbon – are discussed in the rest of the section.
The season 3 premiere of Tulsa King Immediately after the events of season 2, when Dwight ‘The General’ Manfredi is taken in the middle of the night from the house of Margaret’s (Dana Delaney) with, as it turns out, a group of secret government agents led by Musso (Kevin Pollak).
Musso and Manfredi have a history that dates out for the 25-year prison tint of the Invernizzi Capo. During the detainment, Musso Dwight makes it clear that he will become a governmentactive or he will bring down his entire operation. When Dwight is freed from imprisonment, he tries to break down with a relationship with Margaret to protect her, but she will have nothing of it.
Moreover, the operation of the larger Dwight is, the more other mob -families want a piece of it. As such, Dwight is called upon to meet the powerful crime boss of New York City Ray Renzetti (James Russo), who wants to give him his own operation. Actually, although Renzetti wants a piece of what Dwight has, but when he refuses, it sets up a potentially future conflict.
Back in Tulsa, Bodhi (Martin Starr) is instructed to meet the men of Bill Bevilaqua (Frank Grillo) to give the crowd of Kansas City part of their income. Bodhi, however, has even hatched a plan to even get with the Bevilaqua manual that killed his best friend, Jimmy (Glenn Gould) during the events of season 2.
Normally peaceful and easy to deal with, Bodhi shows his vengeful side by holding a gun at the head of Jimmy’s murderer, but does not continue with the execution and guns, instead. This rages Bevilaqua, who calls Dwight, but Dwight is at Bodhi.
The greatest development in the Tulsa King Season 3 season premiere comes when Mitch (Garret Hedlund) reunits with Cleo Montague (Bella Heathcote), an old flame and daughter of Theodore Montague (Brett Rice), the owner of a respected, generations of old liquor store.
Cleo tells Mitch that a powerful Tulsa -crime figure, the Tyrannical Jeremiah Dunmire (Robert Patrick), tries to sell her father to sell him his distillery, so Mitch said he would have Dwight intervened. Dwight meets Theodore and tells him that he will twice pay the amount that Dunmire offers him and Cleo is in charge of the distillery operation in the future.
The word of the offer of the Dwight furious Jeremiah, who brings a few hitmets to make Theodore brutal and burn his country house on the ground. It is unclear whether the men of Dunmire Theodore were only seriously injured or had him die in the fire.

The second episode of Tulsa King Season 3, entitled The fiftywill start streaming at 3 o’clock et/12 am PT on Paramount+.
