Nawaf al Moussawi claimed that President Trump wants to do one of two things: make a deal with Iran or dismantle the regime. But he also issued a chilling threat to the US over any attack on Iran, warning that “what is holding the United States back is its inability to predict the aftermath of the attack.” Commenting on Hezbollah’s possible response to a possible attack, Moussawi reportedly said: “We will cross that bridge when we get to it.”
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov responded after the warning, urging restraint between the US and Iran. He said Moscow is “urging restraint on all sides,” and also said any use of force against Tehran could cause regional chaos and “lead to very dangerous consequences.”
Iran has been on high alert for a possible US attack since President Donald Trump revealed that “another beautiful armada” is heading towards the Middle East. Iran responded with a message from a senior official warning that any attack would be treated as an “all-out war,” promising a response to any violation of Iranian sovereignty.
Earlier this week, Air Forces Central, the air component of US Central Command (CENTCOM), said it would conduct a “multi-day readiness exercise to demonstrate the ability to deploy, deploy, and sustain combat air power in the US Central Command area of responsibility.”
The exercise was “designed to increase capacity to disperse assets and personnel, strengthen regional partnerships, and prepare for agile response execution,” Air Forces Central added in a statement.

In his social media post said Donald Trump indicated that he wanted Iran to have “no nuclear weapons.” In a sign that he is prepared to launch attacks on Iran, as the US did last year during Israel’s 12-day war with Tehran, the president added: “Time is running out, it is really essential. “As I have told Iran before: make a deal. That didn’t happen, and ‘Operation Midnight Hammer’ took place, a major devastation of Iran. The next attack will be much worse. Don’t let that happen again.”
