Beersheba, Israel (AP) -A preliminary ceasefire proposed by President Donald Trump staggered when Israel said that Iran had launched rockets in his air space less than three hours after a cease -the fires had come into effect and promised to take revenge.
Explosions flourished and sirens flourished on Tuesday about Northern Israel-Middenmolen, after both Israel and Iran accepted the Stakes-Fire Plan on Tuesday to put an end to what Trump hoped to call the “12-day war” that shouted the Middle East.
The Israeli Minister of Defense Israel Katz called the missiles a violation of the cessation -the fires and instructed the army of Israel to resume “the intense operations to attack Tehran and to destroy goals of the regime and terror infrastructure.”
The shaky agreement was announced early on Tuesday morning after Tehran had launched a retaliation -restricted rocket attack on an American military base in Qatar On Monday.
Between Trump’s post and the start of the ceasefire -the Fires launched Israel a blitz of air strikes that focus on locations in Iran before dawn and Iran answered with an attack of missiles that killed four people in Israel early on Tuesday morning.
Israel said it had intercepted the middle brush of missiles that entered the ceasefire for hours.
“Tehran Will Tremble”, the Israeli Minister of Finance Betzalel Smotrich wrote X after the missiles were launched.
Netanyahu accepts cessation -the Fire as the Iranian state says TV has stopped
The middle barrage of missiles came after regional leaders, also in Saudi Aarabia and Egypt, the announcement of Trump of Staken -Fires welcomed.
“It is striking -the fire is now in force. Please do not violate it! Donald J. Trump, president of the United States!” He wrote on Tuesday morning on his social media platform.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel had agreed to a bilateral cease -the fire with Iran in coordination with Trump, promising to respond to a subsequent violation. He said he had told Israel’s security cabinet that the country had achieved all its war goals, including the removal of the threat of the nuclear and ballistic rocket programs from Iran. Israel also damaged the military leadership of Iran and various government sites and reached control of Tehran’s air, Netanyahu said.
Iranian officials also did not comment after Trump ceased it -the Fires or Israel had announced that it had intercepted extra rockets hours after it was supposedly in force. Hours earlier Iran’s best diplomat had said that the country was willing to stop air strikes.
“From now on there is no ‘agreement’ about a cessation -the fire or termination of military operations, wrote the Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in a position on X.” Provided that the Israeli regime has its illegal aggression against the Iranian people at the latest 4 hours’ AM Tedan, we have no intention of continuing our response. “
Araghchi added: “The final decision about stopping our military operations will be taken later.”
Iranian missiles kill 4 in Israel as the hostilities expand
The shaky stakes -the fire came one day of hostilities that spread further throughout the region.
Iran launched a limited rocket attack on an American military base on Monday in Qatarrevenge for earlier American bombing at his nuclear locations. The US was warned by Iran in advance and there were no victims. Israel’s army said Iran launched 20 missiles to Israel before it started -the fire started Tuesday morning. The police said that they have damaged at least three densely packed residential buildings in the city of Beersheba.
First Responders said they took four bodies from one building and were looking for more. Earlier, the fire and rescue service said that five bodies were found before the number was revised down.
At least 20 people were injured.
Outside the grenades of grown cars walked through the streets. Broken glass and debris covered the area. Hundreds of emergency services gathered to look for someone else who was trapped in the buildings.
The police said that some people were injured, even in the fortified safe rooms of their apartments, which are intended to withstand missiles and shrapnel, but not direct hits of ballistic missiles.
Bases hit in Iraq
Drones attacked military bases in Iraq at night, including some housing American troops, the Iraqi army and an American military officer said on Tuesday.
No victims were reported and no group claimed responsibility for the attacks in Iraq. Some Iraqi militias supported by Iran had previously threatened to focus on our bases when the US attacked Iran.
Spokesperson Sabah al-Najan of the Iraqi army in a statement called the attacks a “treacherous and cowardly act of aggression” and said they had damaged radar systems in Camp Taji, north of Baghdad, and on Imam Ali Base in the province of Dhi Qar. Iraqi troops shot drones at other locations, he said.
A senior US military officer, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to give public comments, said the American troops had shot drones that attacked Ain al-Assad in the desert in the west of Iraq and on a base next to Bagdad airport, while another crashed.
Trump says that ceaseses -furen is in force
Trump promised that it will stop -last night’s fires to bring an “official end” to what he then conceived the “12 -day war” for the promise of Israel to resume the activities on Tuesday.
Trump had communicated directly with Netanyahu to secure it -the fires, according to a high official of the White House who stood on discussing anonymity to discuss Monday discussions. Vance, State Secretary Marco Rubio and special envoy Steve Witkoff communicated with the Iranians through direct and indirect channels.
The White House has sustained that the bombing helped on Saturday to allow the Israelis to agree with the cease -the Fires and that the government of Qatari has helped to achieve the deal.
It is unclear what role Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the leader of Iran, played in the conversations. He said earlier on social media that he would not surrender.
A temporary closure of the heaven of Israel attacks
Israëls Airports Authority said that Iran’s barrage forced them to close the airspace of the country for emergency flights for a few hours.
Some flights were forced to circle over the Mediterranean, according to Israeli media.
Israel’s airports have been closed since the war with Iran started, but a handful of emergency flights began to arrive and leave in recent days.
At the beginning of Tuesday, Qatar Airways resumed its flights after Qatar had closed its airspace over the Iranian attack on Al Udeid Air Base. Flight-tracking data again showed that commercial aircraft flew in Qatari Airspace again, signaling that Doha believed that the threat of the energy-rich nation had expired.
Conflict has killed hundreds
At least 28 people were killed in Israel and more than 1,000 injured in the war. Israeli strikes on Iran have killed at least 974 people and injured 3,458 others, according to the Washington -based group of human rights activists.
The group, which has provided detailed victim figures of Iranian unrest, such as the protests around The death of Mahsa Amini In 2022, it said of the killed, it identified 387 citizens and 268 security power personnel.
The US has evacuated around 250 American citizens and their immediate family members from Israel by government, military and charter flights that started at the weekend, said an official from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
There are around 700,000 American citizens, most double American Israeli citizens, who are assumed to be in Israel.
