Many of the accounts, which have large followings and claim to be conservative people based in Texas, or “America First” accounts “that promote good and oppose evil,” are actually run from anywhere Chile And Nigeria Unpleasant Russia and on the other side Eastern Europe.
These reports largely post on divisive issues, including immigration, gender and Israel. In one case, it was revealed that a verified account called MAGA NATION with nearly 400,000 followers and the American flag in the screen name was operated from a non-EU country in Eastern Europe. Lots of bills function the names of members of the Trump family, including an Ivanka Trump news account with more than 1 million followers that was based in Nigeria. The account has since been suspended.
On Saturday, Trump shared a screenshot of an X-post from an account called “Fan Trump Army” on Truth Social. The account has more than 500,000 followers and features an image of Trump as its profile photo. According to the new X location feature, the account operator is based in India. The story follows several people convicted for their roles in the attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2021, as well as disgraced former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.
In recent days, the account holder changed his bio to: “An Indian who loves America, President Trump, Musk!” However, an earlier version of the account’s biography did not mention that the account was operated by someone in India.
On Sunday, Trump shared another screenshot of an X post on Truth Social, this time from a verified X account with the screen name: “Donald J. Trump Commentary.”
“Would you support the idea of foreign-born citizens being excluded from the opportunity to run for office? Yes or no,” the screenshot reads. The post also included a photo of Rep. Ilhan Omar with Omar Fateh, a Somali-American lawmaker in Minnesota who ran unsuccessfully for mayor of Minneapolis earlier this month. The account has a photo of the president as its profile photo with a bald eagle in front of the American flag as its background photo. According to X’s new feature, the account appears to be managed somewhere in Africa. (In some cases, X does not specify the country, but only the continent or region.)
In comments on Trump’s post, many called for a ban on foreign-born citizens holding political office, while some posters went further and called for Omar and Fateh’s deportation.
