Donald Trump said on Thursday that he had dedicated his attorney general, Pam Bondi, to find the relimination of the witness declaration of the Grand Jury related to the sexual affair of Jeffrey Epstein, while he wanted to make the controversy about a story that he reportedly contributed to Epstein’s 50E Salb.
The president said about Truth Social that he had authorized the Ministry of Justice to find the public release of the material that are under seal, with reference to “the ridiculous amount of publicity given to Jeffrey Epstein”.
Bondi, those days of accusations of Trump’s extreme right-wing supporters who had passed them down and did not manage to deliver promises to release secret documents about the Epstein case, responded to Trump’s post with its own function that promised to comply with the directive.
The flurry of activity followed a story in the Wall Street Journal That reported that Trump had contributed a letter, described as “Schunnig” and with a drawing of the silhouette of a naked woman around a typed personal message to Epstein, compiled to the birthday album by Ghislane Maxwell.
“A few small arches indicates the breasts of the woman, and the signature of the future president is a squiggly” Donald “under her waist, which mimics pubic hair,” said the magazine about the alleged drawing. It added the letter: “Happy birthday – and can be another wonderful secret every day.”
Trump denied the magazine that he was the author of the birthday cuddly and, hours after the story was published, announced that he intended to put on a lawsuit in a long -term function about the truth of the truth, explain the report as fake and to condemn it as what he called “the Epstein Hoax”.
The president said in the position that he had personally told Rupert Murdoch and the editor -in -chief Emma Tucker of the magazine that the letter was fake and that he would sue if a story about the letter was published.
“Mr. Murdoch stated that he would take care of it, but clearly did not have the power to do this,” Trump wrote. “Instead, they will go with a false, malignant, defamatory story anyway. President Trump will soon sue the Wall Street Journal, News Corp and Mr. Murdoch.”
Trump’s statement followed attempts by the president and civil servants of the White House to try to undermine the story, also by printing the magazine to provide a copy of the letter that it did not give, according to people who were familiar with the case.
As the existence of the story became more and more known in Washington, the story or the story would run and whether Trump would actually draw a figure of a woman, something of a salon game became between administration and Trump altotators and reporters.
The outlet admitted that it was not clear how the letter with Trump’s signature was prepared, but said it contained a typed note that was stylized as an imaginary conversation between Trump and Epstein.
Allegedly the memorandum began: “Voice -over: there must be more in life than everything has,” the note began.
Donald: Yes, there is, but I will not tell you what it is.
Jeffrey: Neither will I, because I also know what it is.
Donald: We have certain things in common, Jeffrey.
Jeffrey: Yes, we are thinking about it.
Donald: Eenmas never older, have you noticed that?
Jeffrey: It was clearly the last time I saw you.
Donald: A friend is something great. Congratulations – and may be another great secret every day.
The magazine reported that Maxwell letters from Trump and dozens of other Epstein employees, including L owner Les Wexner, collected for the 2003 birthday album, three years before Epstein was ever investigated for sexual misconduct.
The magazine also reported that the learning -related album had been examined one of the documents by officials at the Ministry of Justice who was investigating Epstein and Maxwell at that time.
Among other things, who seem to have presented birthday greetings for the compilation was Epstein lawyer Alan Dershowitz and Wexner, who reportedly contributed a message: “I wanted to get what you want … so here it is …” Together with a line drawing of which the diary was “of what a woman was the breasts of a woman”. Wexner refused to comment through a spokesperson.
Dershowitz said to the diary: “It was a long time ago and I remember the content of what I may have written.”
The birthday album 2003 with Trump’s birthday wishes comes a year before Trump offered his praise from Epstein in a 2002 Magazine in New York profile. “I have known Jeff for 15 years. Great guy,” Trump told the publication. “He is very nice to be at. It is even said that he loves beautiful women as much as I am, and many of them are on the younger side. Undoubtedly – Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”
But in recent days, because the controversy of Epstein was warmed up after years of sleeping, Trump has tried to send Maga Republicans away from the subject and to call it a “hoax”.
JD Vance emerged on Thursday evening to the defense of Trump.
“Forgive my language, but this story is complete and completely nonsense. The WSJ should be ashamed of publishing,” Vance written About X. “Where is this letter? Would you be shocked to learn that they never showed us before they publish it? Does anyone honestly believe that this sounds like Donald Trump?”
