Miami (AP) – Tropical storm Juliette was formed on Monday in the Pacific Ocean Hundreds of kilometers of the Baja California peninsula in Mexico as a tropical storm Fernand in the Atlantic Ocean.

There were no coastal watches or warnings in force for both storms, said the American National Hurricane Center, based in Miami.

Juliette was not an immediate threat to land, said predictors. The storm was approximately 440 miles (708 kilometers) south-southwest of the southern point of the Baja California peninsula. It had maximum persistent winds of 40 MPH (64 km / h).

It moved West-Noordwest at 13 km / h (21 km / h). Some reinforcement was predicted until Tuesday, with weakening from Wednesday.

Fernand formed in the Atlantic Basin on Saturday, but was also far from land and was expected to be about open ocean waters. It was about 360 miles (579 kilometers) east of the northeast of Bermuda with maximum persistent winds of 50 mph (80 km / h) and on the Northern Noordoost on 12 MPH (19 km / h).

The storm is expected to change more to the northeast as it leaves Bermuda and weakened from Monday evening.
