England Golf has confirmed its three-player team for the World Junior Girls Golf Championship in St. Catharines Golf & Country Club, Canada, from 15-20 September.
Lauren Crump (Hill Valley, Shropshire), Ellie Lichtenhein (De Buckinghamshire, Buckinghamshire) and Charlotte Naughton (Longhirst Hall, Northumberland) are all picked in the team, which is being coached by Steve Robinson, with India Clyburn.
Clyburn said: “We have a really strong team of national champions for the World Junior Girls in Canada. I am excited to see how they take the opportunity to compete against other strong countries. The design of the course always plays such as Target Golf, so we have to be accurate from TT-Shreen to Green for the best chance to be good.”
England will be looking for history at the event, after he has not merged at one of the previous nine events since its foundation in 2014, while no English player in the top three positions of the individual classification at the championship is completed. Read more about the trio of England below.
