Trio makes moves in week 23 of the poll

Miki and Minnie, Lexus Kody and Super Chapter all recorded wins in last week’s stakes action, with all three improving their positions in the Top 10 of the Week 23 edition of the Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown survey released on Wednesday.

Three-year-old filly Miki and Minnie (Always B Miki) defeated older rivals in the FanDuel Mare Pace Championship (Grade 2) at the Meadowlands last Saturday, jumping from fourth to second in the standings behind the inactive Beau Jangles, who remained No. 1 for the fourth consecutive week.

Lexus Kody captured the FanDuel Open Trot Championship (G1) at the Big M, moving from eighth to fifth in the poll, behind inactive duo Yo Tillie and Louprint, in third and fourth respectively.

Super Chapter won the Matron Stakes (G3), for 3-year-old male trotters, at Bally’s Dover on November 13 to land at number 8 in this week’s rankings, up from 10th.

There were no newcomers in the Top 10.

The Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll, which continues weekly on Wednesdays during the Grand Circuit season, does not determine year-end awards. The members of the US Harness Writers Association vote on all Dan Patch Award division winners plus Trotter of the Year, Pacer of the Year and Horse of the Year.

The final 2025 Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll will be published on December 3.

Rankings based on the votes of sports media representatives on a 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 basis.
