A traffic advice from the Malaysian traffic police (JSPT) for the 2025 Petronas Le Tour de Langkawi (LTDL), planned for September 28 to October 5. - Phase 2, 29 September: Main Field, Perlis to Batas, Penang, 166.1 km
- Phase 3, 30 September: Gerik, Perak to Pasir Puteh, Kelantan, 198.2 km
- Phase 4, October 1: Kuala Terengganu to Kemaman, Terengganu, 141.5 km
- Phase 5, 2 October: Temeroh, Pahang to Fraser’s Hill, Pahang, 123.1 km
- Phase 6, 3 October: Shah Alam, Selangor to Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, 123.5 km
- Phase 7, 4 October: Malacca to Medini, Johor, 214.9 km
- Phase 8, 5 October: Tangkak, Joor to Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur, 180.2 km
The race comprises 132 bicycle racers in 22 teams, plus a large number of support vehicles, starting in Padang Mat Sirat in Langkawi on September 28 before he ends at the foot of the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumor, eight days later on 5 October.
A total of 164 JSPT staff consisting of 16 officers and 148 other ranks will be mobilized for the duration of the race, with the support of the State Police. Roads along the LTDL races will be closed temporarily or in phases, with detours and diversions for road traffic.
The public is advised to plan ahead for their travels and to follow instructions from JSPT staff to reduce the risk of unwanted incidents. Spectators are advised to come early when attending the stage races before road closures and JPST hopes for collaboration of the public to ensure a safe running of the 2025 LTDL.
