Charlottetown, PE – Fitness first rewrote the record books on Friday evening on Red Shores Racetrack and Casino in the Charlottetown Driving Park.
The $ 8,000 MacDonald Family Pace was a Ravel of 18 length in 1: 54.4 When Fitness First ($ 2.30) scored a new track record that it overshadowed 1: 55.1 record of High Roller from November 2023. Corey Macpherson trains and drives for owner Jim Gorman van South Melville.

Trainer-Driver Adam Merner opened and closed the program that won with Den of Thieves ($ 4.50) in 1: 57.2 in the opener and well-mentioned celebrities ($ 3.20) in the race 11 final in 1: 54.4.
Cowboy Logic ($ 28.60) and driver Steven Shepherd won the Race 3 District 15 & District 17 Liberal Associations Pace in 1: 55.4 for trainer Harold Shepherd.
ABC ($ 7.40) conquered the stable pace of Bob Connelly Re in race 5 for driver Steven Murphy and trainer Clifford Murphy with a 1: 56.4 miles.
Rookie driver Zac Noye had a career -moment with his first lifelong victory in the Kent MacDonald MP Cardigan Pace Send Crosscut ($ 40.60) in a 1:57 mile for trainer Jay Noye.
Gascoigne AC ($ 4.00) and driver Marc Campbell won the Mick & Barb Dunn Memorial with a 1: 56.1 miles for trainer Tammy Collings.
The Race 8 Collings Timbermart & Ryan’s Driving School went to Dusty Lane Levi ($ 16.30) and driver Jason Hughes in 1:55 of the Greg Weatherbee Barn.
One rock ($ 2.80) was the best in the Race 9 Trevor Tracey – Trevor Tracey Family Funeral Home Pace with a victory of 1: 56.2 from the Luke Burke Barn.
