Destination D23 is fully in force in Orlando, Florida, and the announcements roll in for the future of Disney Entertainment!
Disney withdrew the curtain on a crowded slate of upcoming projects in Marvel Studios, Pixar, Walt Disney Animation and Disney+, making fans in theaters enough to look forward to – and on their screens – Years.
One of the first surprises of the day came from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Russo brothers sent a video message directly from the set of “Avengers: Doomsday”, accompanied by Paul Rudd, who again fits like Ant-Man.
The duo confirmed that filming is officially underway for what is expected to be one of Marvel’s largest blockbusters so far.
The prehistoric friends of Blue Sky return to “Ice Age: boiling point”, sliding in the cinema on February 5, 2027. This time Manny, Sid, Diego and the crew go the filled world with dinosaurus full of laved world.
Pixar had a lot to celebrate, including the 30-year anniversary of “Toy Story”, which goes back to theaters for a special re-release on 12 September. But that was not the only “Toy Story” news that made waves.
Fans got their first look at “Toy Story 5”, came to the theaters on June 19, 2026.
The new episode places the classic toy gang against a new generation of technical toys, including the villain of the film, Lilypad – an iPad in a frog theme.
Comedian Conan O’Brien will express a new character named Smarty Pants, and exclusive images showed a defective army of Buzz Lightyars Gone Rogue, with extra chaos on the toy box. Andrew Stanton directs the film with co-director Kenna Harris and producer Jessica Choi.

Pixar also has an example of “Hoppers”, a new original comedy on March 6, 2026, about a student who uses a robot -like beaver to protect her forest against development. Stementalent consists of Piper Curda and Bobby Moynihan.
Looking ahead, Pixar confirmed “The Incredibles 3” is officially in development and part of its 2028 and beyond the Line -up.
“Zootopia 2”, in theaters 26 November 2025, revealed new cast supplements, including Patrick Warburton and mayor Winddancer and Yvette Nicole Brown and both EMT Otter and Baroness Bear.
The sequel follows Judy Hopps and Nick, while she went undercover to solve a mystery that threatens the city. New characters include voices from Ke Huy Quan, Quinta Brunson, Fortune Feimster and the return of Shakira as Gazelle.
Walt Disney Animation introduced “Hexed”, a new original function that debuts in November 2026.
It follows a teenager and his perfectionist mother who discovers his strange behavior is actually magical. Their journey leads them to a hidden empire where magic is wild.
“Tron: Ares,” Arrival on October 10, 2025, will contain a score with nine inch nails, which will temporarily take over the Tron Lightcycle Run rides in Florida and Shanghai from 15 September.
As part of the celebration, the original “Tron” films will be released on September 16 in 4K Ultra HD. The new film stars Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters and Jeff Bridges.
On Disney+, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw” will premiere on December 5.
Based on the third book in the Jeff Kinney series, follows the animation film Greg Heffley while bumping into the expectations of his father and is confronted with a personal ultimatum. The cast includes Aaron D. Harris as Greg and Chris Diamantopoulos like Frank Heffley.
