Part of the problem is the fixed list. Villarreal has a European pedigree but does not wear the glamor of the elite clubs of the continent.
The other home games of Tottenham in the competition phase are against Slavia Prague, Copenhagen and Borussia Dortmund. Only the Dortmund collision in January is expected to generate the kind of sold-out demand that has become the norm in North London.
The absence of a Box-Office opponent is, in contrast to the draws that are handed over to the other Champions League clubs of England. Newcastle -Gastheer Barcelona, Liverpool Face Real Madrid, Chelsea also meets Barca and Arsenal Welcome Bayern Munich.
Without visiting Tottenham to the Dortmund in January, without a similar draw, many fans seem to stop.

Spurs placed the Villarreal competition in their category B price level. Adult tickets in the cheapest sections are £ 49, reduced to £ 37 for seniors and young adults, while juniors pay £ 24.50. In the mid-range sections of the south stand, adult seats £ 80 are without concessions, while the most expensive areas are priced at £ 96.
For comparison, category A matches against Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Newcastle costs up to £ 109, while category C games, such as those against Copenhagen or Burnley, start at £ 38.
Randal Kolo Muani Set for Spurs Debut
Spurs -Baas Frank has confirmed that Randal Kolo Muani is ready to make his Tottenham debut against Villarreal.
The French International joined Spurs on loan from Paris Saint-Germain on Deadline Day and still has to be recorded, but his manager insisted that he would be involved on Tuesday evening.
“If we needed him to play, he could play 90 minutes,” Frank said. “But can he play in the intensity and level we want? That is the question. He is ready and he will be involved tomorrow, so that’s the most important thing.”
Spurs will be without Dominic Solanke, who still recovers from an ankle injury. Richarlison is available again after international service, but Mathys Tel-Die started Saturday’s 3-0 win at West Ham in the Premier League-IS not registered in Tottenham’s Champions League team.
