Tottenham podcast demise by Daniel Levy

The death of Daniel Levy has been well covered, but here I’m taking a moment to focus on how, in my own work life, outside of football, I’m working with a brand to launch a bar in Birmingham. Mason Newman Gunmaker’s Guns.

The message is clear: stay on your path and always work for the common good, not for yourself.

Levy ultimately damaged the brand he worked for because he was not focused on ENIC; he was focused on himself. Hence the internal review, which is why he and Donna Marie Cullen were unceremoniously thrown out.

The whole performance is herewhere, as usual, we look at recent events at Tottenham, including the dreadful draw against Monaco, which itself caused many fans online to cry and lament that Thomas Frank’s time was up.

Who exactly these supporters are is a mystery to me; one can only assume they’re the same ones who told us Ange Postecoglou deserved a third season. One of the very serious dangers of polling the opinions of people who, given the time difference, would normally be asleep while Spurs play football, I think.

Thomas Frank is a man who, like all Tottenham managers before him, came in under Levy and is severely handicapped in almost every department. The former Brentford boss has no attacking quality, a ‘dynamism-free’ midfield, apart from Mohammed Kudus.

I understand that football has become quite slapstick, helped by infantile journalism and self-publicized bloggers who don’t really have much to offer. All of this has resulted in more shouting, rather than persuasive thinking.

However, fans would have been quite foolish not to see what Daniel’s poor signings and continued failure to effect meaningful change management have caused. All those who assured us that Richarlison was ‘going to cook’ have revealed that not only do they have difficulty speaking English coherently, but they also know nothing about football.
