Torrent Pharmaceuticals shares reached a 52 weeks high in early trade when brokers in-line Q1FY26 results glorified. Net profit increased by 20 percent yoj to £ 548 crore for the revision of the quarter.
Citi has retained the purchase at an increased target price of £ 4,380 of £ 4,000 earlier. The brokerage expects that the margin extension will take place as a result of business drawers in brand segments and potentially American recovery.
Nuvama institutional shares argued that the Indian activities of the pharmaceutical India would benefit in the medium term as a result of the addition of 1,200 medical representatives (MRS) over FY25 and FY26. The acquisition of JB Chemicals is a long-term growth or value engine. Nuvama remains optimistic on Torrent Pharma and keeping buying at an increased target price of £ 3,920 earlier to £ 4,180.
Elara Capital has upgraded the share from reduction to accumulate rating increased at a target price from £ 3,382 to £ 4,048 per share. However, it marked a delay on the domestic market as an important risk.
HDFC Securities believes that Torrent Pharma is well positioned for a steady growth, powered by its strong brand franchise, supported by new product launches, expansion of the wellness sport folio of consumer orientation and a continuous momentum in Brazil and a gradual turnaround. The analysts retain add -rating at a revised target price of £ 3,780 per share.
Incredit shares – maintaining the new target price of £ 3,700 per share – noted that the current appreciation the shares are priced to perfection, which is a reflection of strong basic principles, growth and worries about acquisition. The appreciation is likely to remain floating, supported by healthy profit growth and continuous operational excellence, it added.
At 11 am the share rose by 3.03 percent to £ 3,734.45 on the BSE after a highest point in 52 weeks of £ 3,749 in early trade.
