It’s a four-match Saturday evening in the Elite League as we head into the weekend of week 10 of the 2025/26 season.
League leaders Nottingham Panthers are in Coventry for their only game of the weekend. The Panthers are one point clear at the top and enter the night on a three-game winning streak in the league. Coventry occupy the final play-off place in the early series and picked up a pair of home wins last week.
Cardiff Devils continue their Scottish road trip with a visit to Dundee. The Devils started their three-in-three with a defeat in Glasgow, but remain second in the standings. This defeat was the first in three games. Dundee were beaten twice and knocked out of the Challenge Cup last weekend and have managed just one league win from six games so far.
Third-placed Sheffield Steelers could end the evening summit if they beat Fife Flyers at the Utilita Arena and other results fall their way. The Steelers got past Guildford in extra time in midweek to bounce back from Sunday’s defeat to Cardiff and have won four of their last five at home. Fife are still looking for their first league win of the season after ten consecutive defeats, but did pick up a point when the sides met in Kirkcaldy a fortnight ago.
Finally, Belfast Giants and Manchester Storm meet again less than 24 hours after Friday evening’s clash. Storm gave away a three-goal lead in a 6-3 defeat as the Giants continued their impressive run at the SSE Arena, having not been beaten since the opening weekend in the league and cup.
