Tom Aspinall has spoken out passionately about Ciryl Gane, after Gane recently showed fans on Instagram that he is busy, even though there is no date or opponent for his next fight.

Aspinall wasn’t happy with Gane’s caption and joked:
“No, there’s no date yet. I’m not medically cleared to fight and am about to undergo surgery thanks to your disgusting fingernails. I’ll be back soon to smash your face in, you’re cheating.”

Tom Aspinall was stabbed in the eye by Gane at UFC 321, after which the title fight ended as a no-contest and the champion retained his heavyweight championship.
Since then, the Brit has been on the sidelines and will require surgery and an eyeball injection. His road to recovery appears longer than expected, and Dana White’s plans to play Aspinall vs. Rebooking as quickly as possible will not be possible, as Aspinall is not even allowed to train.
Dana White promises to get Tom Aspinall back in the octagon soon
After the UFC 321 headliner ended in a no-contest, Dana White said at the post-fight press conference that Tom Aspinall did not want to continue fighting. Aspinall was unhappy with White’s comments and he expressed his frustration in a video on his YouTube channel.
To clear up the bad blood and confusion, White clarified at the UFC 323 presser that he didn’t want to say anything negative about the champion, and that the promotion is taking good care of him:
“I understand. I don’t remember exactly what I said… That I think his eyes were okay? That’s the point. I know Tom said I didn’t even talk to him, but there are people around him now keeping an eye on him and making sure he’s okay… I didn’t say anything negative about him. I guess things can be taken out of context or he wouldn’t have seen what I said. Never have I said anything negative about him or in a derogatory way. I’m there sure he does. angry and excited, and he will get better, and we will get him back there.
