How to play

Wordel is a daily word puzzle game where your goal is to guess a hidden five -letter word in six attempts or less. After each gamble, the game gives feedback to help you get closer to the answer:

  • Vegetable: The letter is in the word and in the right place.
  • Yellow: The letter is in the word, but in the wrong place.
  • Gray: The letter is not in the word at all.

Use these instructions to limit your guesses. Every day brings a new word and everyone around the world tries to solve the same puzzle. Some Wordlers also play a competitive wordel against friends, family, the wormle bone or even against me, your modest narrator. See rules for competitive Wordel by the end of this message.

Wordel -analysis

Every day I check Wordel Bot to analyze my gambling game. You can check your Wordles with Wordel Bot here.

Brace just dived into my head and I stopped it as my first gamble. Type of underwhelming results. Adios lowered the 235 remaining words to 24, although Wordel Bot then kindly informed me that Natal would have been more efficient. No joke? Salty left me with just one possible solution: nasal for the victory.
