Tiger Woods has to make room on his trophy shelf for son Charlie.

The 16-year-old ended on Wednesday with a three-round score of 15-year-old 201 in the Taylormade Invitational team to win his first American Junior Golf Association event in the Streamsong Resort Black Course.

Woods started the day tied up at nine-under 135 and ended with a final round of six-under 66 to be over a field of 71 players with four of the top-five-arranged Ajga’s players.

The last round of Woods contained eight birdies and two bogeys, and he closed with four straight pars.

He won the event with three strokes for a three -way draw between the fifth rank player Luke Colton, Willie Gordon and Phillip Dunham.

Woods opened the tournament with a first round score of 70 and followed on Tuesday with a 65. He competed in just his fifth AJGA event, with his previous best finish a draw for 25th in the Junior Invital in Sage Valley in March.

Woods already had several victories over his CV, with his first in the 14-15-year category at the large championship of the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour in June 2023.

Later that year he won the last Chance Regional Golf Tournament. Last summer he qualified to compete with the American junior amateur, but did not succeed in cutting.
