The clothes from Chet Holmgren that he wore for the wedding of his OKC teammate Alex Caruso and “Big Brother” Alum Haleigh Broucher raised some eyebrows in Houston on Saturday.
The 7-foot Power Forward stood up with a completely white checkered suit with a chestnut shirt, sunglasses and gold chains.
After photos of the wedding of the pair of social media had taken rounds, Holmgren got some flack for his ensemble, because the bride traditionally wears white in Western cultures.
“Why does he wear the wedding of someone else who is so rude,” said a person.
“Chet was dressed as if he had not been invited,” added another.
Someone else compared Holmgren with ‘an Elvis -imitator’.
Holmgren was not the only wedding guest that wore white.
Sacramento Kings, guard Zach Lavine, who played next to Caruso in Chicago, wore a completely white suit and one of Cleef & Arpel’s necklace, as seen on photos his wife, Hunter, shared on Instagram.
